The Pygmalion Effect

THE PYGMALION EFFECT-

A few weeks ago we posted about your “tribe” and how to tell explain your goals to them. Now it’s time that your tribe knows your plan of action. You need to make sure your tribe expects great things from you.

The Pygmalion effect is the phenomenon whereby the greater the expectation placed upon people, the better they perform. If you tell your tribe you are going to do great things and hit huge goals; make sure they believe you and expect nothing but… greatness!

Don’t tell your tribe easy to attain goals, you will only set yourself up for mediocre success. Tell them your biggest and most ambitious goals, and let them know that they can expect you to reach these big goals. This will get your tribe to believe in your abilities, and in turn, strengthen the belief that you have in yourself.

REMEMBER- YOU ARE CAPABLE OF ACCOMPLISHING AMAZING THINGS!
