Habit and Routine VS Motivation!


Now that the holidays are over, and we are all motivated to reach out goals, here’s one important thing to remember: HABIT AND ROUTINE ARE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN MOTIVATION!

All of us are guilty of using the holidays as motivation. How many times have you said to yourself “I am not gaining any weight during the holidays!” And yet, most of us seem to gain that 5-10lbs anyway.  Or how many years have you set a big new year resolution goal, only to fall short a month later?

Keep in mind that creating habits and having a routine will last far longer than temporary motivation. Motivation will only last so long before life gets in the way.

Use motivation to get you started, but establish a routine and healthy habits to reach your goals and stay there.
